Marat Mukhamedsaliyev was appointed Director of Public Relations and Marketing Communications of SWF Samruk-Kazyna.
He has been working in the field of media and PR since 1996. In different years, he was an editor, presenter of news and analytical programs on the TV channels "Khabar", "Kazakhstan", AstanaTV.
In 2000, he held the position of Deputy head of the press service of NOC "KazakhOil", in 2003 – Director of the Public Relations Department of JSC" Kazmunayteniz", 2004 -2005 in JSC "RD"KazMunayGas".
From 2007 to the present, he has been a press secretary in such companies as KEGOC JSC (2007-2013), Samruk-Energo JSC (2013-2018) and the International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects (2018-2020). Since January 2020, he worked in the field of public relations of JSC "Science Foundation".
He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Yerlan Durmagambetov - Managing Director for Strategy, Sustainable Development and Digital Transformation. Co-Managing Director - Yernat Berdigulov.
Nazira Nurbaeva took over as Managing Director for Economics and Finance. Mukhtar Tazhigaliev - Managing Director for Corporate Governance and Social and Labor Relations.
Personnel appointments were made in accordance with the Fund's Development Strategy and the new organizational structure.
By the decision of the Board of SWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Sauranbayev Nurlan Yermekovich was appointed Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy".
Almassadam Satkaliyev, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna, presented the new head of KTZ JSC to the team today.
Previously, Nurlan Sauranbayev served as the Head of the Department of State Control and Organizational and Territorial Work of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In different years, he worked as Deputy Minister of Defense, Vice-Minister of Industry and New Technologies, Akim of the city of Shymkent.
In 2010, N. Sauranbayev held the position of Managing Director in the Sovereign Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna". Previously, he worked in senior positions in NC "KazMunayGas" JSC and RSE "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy".
He graduated from the Kazakh State University named after S. Kirov. He was awarded the Orders "Kurmet" (2007) and "Parasat" (2013).
By the decision of the Management Board of SWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Yessimkhanov Sungat Kuatovich was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy JSC.
The new head of Samruk-Energy JSC was introduced to the team today by the CEO of Samruk-Kazyna Almassadam Satkaliyev.
Previously, Sungat Yessimkhanov held the post of First Deputy Akim of Pavlodar region. Over the years, he worked as Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of Kazakhenergyexpertise JSC, Director of the Department of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition in Mangistau and Karaganda regions.
Graduated from Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov and the Bolashak Institute.
During the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev was provided with information on the results of the work of the Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Welfare Fund for the past year and the first quarter of 2021, as well as on the progress in the execution of instructions given at the meetings of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund Management Board.
“Samruk-Kazyna Fund has successfully completed the last year. The Fund's companies ended 2020 without significant staff cuts, while maintaining a continuous production process. At the end of 2020, the value of the Fund's assets reached 13.9 trillion tenge”,- Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
A. Satkaliyev informed Elbasy about the activities of transforming the Fund into an investment holding and key priorities for the coming years.
The First President of Kazakhstan noted that the Fund is the national wealth of Kazakhstan. So that, it is necessary to continue working to increase its assets for the benefit of the entire people.
“In a short time, the Fund managed to reorganize itself and take prompt measures. Strategic key industries are working fine. In 2020, the Fund allocated KZT870 billion to the state budget”,- Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
Elbasy also stressed the importance of taking concrete measures to further improve the efficiency of the Fund's companies.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the National Fund Management Board gave a number of specific instructions and wished A. Satkaliyev fruitful and successful work.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the Fund’s current activities, the work carried out to fulfill the previously given Presidential instructions to ensure the implementation of major infrastructure projects, social stability, as well as the financial stability of the Samruk-Kazyna Group of companies.
Almasadam Satkaliyev informed the Head of State about the plans for the construction of new facilities related to the development of the “green” economy, as well as on the privatization of the Fund's assets.
At the end, President Tokayev gave a number of specific instructions concerning Samruk-Kazyna’s development strategy.
Today in the morning the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin introduced to the Samruk-Kazyna management the new CEO of the Fund - ex-Managing Director for Asset Management Almasadam Satkaliyev.
The head of government noted the merits of Akhmetzhan Yessimov to the country over the long years of his work.
In turn, A. Yessimov especially thanked the Elbasy, with whom he worked since 1990, for the trust that he had been shown over more than 30 years. He wished the current President of the country, with whom they had worked together in different positions in the Government since the 90s, great success.
Akhmetzhan Smagulovich also expressed his gratitude to the staff of the Fund for more than three years of joint work and noted that he was leaving the post with a sense of accomplishment.
A. Yessimov emphasized that during his leadership of the Fund, dividends to the Government increased 10 times, previously attracted loans for KZT554 billion were returned to the National Fund ahead of schedule. The value of the Fund's net assets increased by 39%, the new procurement model allowed the Fund to save KZT 410 billion. The model itself became the basis for a new procurement law recently passed by parliament.
During the years of Kazakhstan's independence, Akhmetzhan Yessimov worked as the Head of the Administration of the Almaty Region, three times was Deputy Prime Minister, was the First Secretary of State of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the State Committee of Kazakhstan on Investments, Head of the Presidential Administration. For several years, he represented the interests of Kazakhstan as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. He headed the country's Delegation to the EU and NATO. He worked as the Minister of Agriculture, akim of the city of Almaty, the head of "Astana EXPO - 2017".
Prime Minister Askar Mamin introduced the new chair of the board to the staff of Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC — Almasadam Satkaliev. The Head of Government thanked the former Chair of the Board of the Fund Akhmetzhan Yessimov for his significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and effective work in various government posts over the years of Independence. The prime minister noted the successful solution by Yessimov of the tasks of transformation and modernization of SWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC, increasing its role in the diversification and development of the Kazakhstani economy. He graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Mechanics, Applied Mathematics, Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business, Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is a Doctor of Economics, Academician of the Kazakhstan National Academy of Natural Sciences, foreign member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. In 1997-2001, he worked as a manager, head of the clearing department, head of the project management department, managing director, vice president for economics of JSC National Oil Transportation Company KazTransOil. In 2001-2006, he was a financial director, vice president for economics and first vice president of Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company KEGOC. In 2006-2007, he was the Director for the Management of Electric Power Assets of JSC Kazakhstan Holding for Management of State Assets Samruk. In January 2007, he was appointed Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Board of Directors of JSC Kazakhstan Holding for State Assets Management Samruk. In 2008-2009, he was the first vice-president of Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company KEGOC, in 2009-2011 resident of Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company JSC.
